Circus Maniacs is currently accepting applications from individuals, duos or small groups) on a 'unique project' basis to help them create new work. This exceptional opportunity happens trice yearly in September, January & April, and is called 'Special Projects'.

Students sign up for 3, 6, 9 or 12 months intensive training & support over a possible 18 month period towards creating and performing one or more new marketable products. The program is unique to each participant, and studenta have a 'Circus Mentor' who will give advice on further developing CV's, and also help students set realistic goals & targets for their training & project development.

Work Placements may be arranged during the holiday periods if you are interested (If your product is finished there is a possibility of paid work, via the Circus Maniacs Agency).

Students also have the option of enrolling on a Business start-up training program run in conjunction with City of Bristol College. Students receive a business development pack to work from, have the opportunity to go to workshops, and are allocated a 'Business Mentor' to help on a one-to-one basis through all the stages of business planning, business startup, and applying for available funding. Students who complete the process also gain an NVQ level 3 qualification in Owner Business Management.

Normally students are expected to enrol for at least 6 months.

Mon 19th April 2004
